Summer 2011 Internships
Summer internships with the Office of the Governor now open. The summer term begins May 2nd and runs through August 31st. This internship is an unpaid opportunity offering a variety of experiences for young men and women seeking an opportunity to work within the Executive Branch of Government.
Hours: Ten to twenty hours per week. Work hours are flexible, but interns are required to be in the office on the specified days and times agreed upon by both parties.
Description of Internship: Interns may assist in the following offices: The Office of the Governor, the Office of the Lieutenant Governor
Authentications, Constituent Services, Elections and the Office of the First Lady
Duties Include: Drafting letters, organizing and drafting mailing lists, letters, thank you notes, etc, logging documents, assist with set-up of press events, general office duties
We are seeking outstanding interns with writing ability, excellent grammar and computer skills, and professional in dress and conduct.
